{"id":980,"date":"2016-06-21T16:01:04","date_gmt":"2016-06-21T16:01:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fcara.org.uk\/?p=980"},"modified":"2016-06-21T16:01:04","modified_gmt":"2016-06-21T16:01:04","slug":"all-change-at-bow-roundabout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fcara.org.uk\/?p=980","title":{"rendered":"All Change At Bow Roundabout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Transport for London (Tfl) is due to complete changes\u00a0at Bow Roundabout in\u00a0 mid-July, with final work in the next few weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The aim is\u00a0to improve access for pedestrians and cyclists between Bow and Stratford. Tfl says n<\/span>ew signal crossings linking Bow Road and Stratford High Street, via Bow interchange, should open by the end of June. Toucan crossings (for pedestrians and cyclists)\u00a0will also connect Cycle Superhighway 2 and the River Lea towpath.<\/p>\n<p>Once the new signalised crossings are open, the final work involves removing the old crossings at Bow roundabout.<\/p>\n<p>There will be some lane closures as this work is completed, including:<br \/>\n<strong>Tuesday 28 June to Saturday 2 July:<\/strong> Overnight lane closures on Bow roundabout, High Street and Bow Road each night between\u00a09.30pm and\u00a05am the following morning.<br \/>\n<strong>Friday 1 July to mid-July:<\/strong> Lane closures on the slip-roads between the A12 and Bow roundabout. These will apply on weekdays between 10am and 4pm to avoid the busiest times.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The area may be busier than usual so Tlf ask motorists to consider alternative routes and allow more time for your journeys.
