We had an incredible response to our inaugural Grove Hall Park Top Dog competition, with 16 entrants (including rogue feline,\u00a0Rocky the cat). Over the course of the three-week online voting we received an amazing 285 votes, with Lula a fluffy head and shoulders above the others for top spot, taking 21.4% of the total vote.<\/p>\n

Runners up were Llewy and Oscar in second and third place, respectively\u00a0with Rossco Maxwell missing out on a placing by just one vote. Pedro and Rocky the cat\u00a0were joint fifth, proving many of you have a soft spot for the underdog – or undercat, in this case.<\/p>\n

Thanks to everyone who joined in and who turned up for the Big Lunch prizegiving on Sunday. Lula seems nonplussed and a bit soggy in the photo above, but I am sure she’s on cloud nine.<\/p>\n
