St Mary’s Church Bow invites local residents to help celebrate the completion of the church tower conservation work.<\/p>\n
When: Saturday, 14 July, 2.30pm to 6pm<\/p>\n
With the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the stonework has been cleaned and repaired, the clock refurbished and the cross regilded.<\/p>\n
The celebration, open to all, will start with ringing the bells in the tower, then there will be tea and cake, a visit from the pearly queen, an old-fashioned sing-along, an interactive 3D artwork “The Story of the Stones”, a photo display of the works.
