We had an incredible response to our Big Bow\u00a0Bake-off this year, with an amazing range of tasty treats cooked and shared at the Grove Hall Park Great Get-Together on Sunday 11 June.<\/p>\n

Thanks to our judges, Christoph<\/strong> and councilor Rachel Blake<\/strong>, who bravely munched their way through about 20 different sweet treats, before ending on a serious sugar high. They said it was an incredibly tough choice with a very high standard of entries. It certainly all looked and tasted great!<\/p>\n

Sylvie’s<\/strong>\u00a0carrot and pistachio cakey-cake took the top prize, with Mike’s<\/strong> lavender and orange cake, and\u00a0Amy’s<\/strong> Victoria sponge the runners up.<\/p>\n

Here’s Sylvie<\/strong>\u00a0 (being a bit shy) with mum Aline<\/strong> and our judges.<\/p>\n
