In February and March TfL ran a consultation about plans to change some bus routes in our area and serving the Isle of Dogs.<\/p>\n
These changes will come into effect in September<\/strong> and October<\/strong>, as set out below: Some people might have to swap buses because of changes to the D8 and 108 services, but TfL says\u00a0the new\u00a0\u2018hopper ticket\u2019\u00a0 will\u00a0let passengers transfer to another bus without paying another fare if they do this within an hour of the first journey.<\/p>\n
\n135 <\/strong>\u2013 will be diverted along Spindrift Ave to compensate for changes to D3 route\u00a0 from 17 September
\n277 <\/strong>\u2013 will be rerouted to Crossharbour and no longer serve Leamouth from 17 September
\nD3 <\/strong>\u2013 will be rerouted via route 277 <\/strong>to Leamouth and no longer serve Crossharbour from 17 September
\nD8 <\/strong>\u2013\u00a0will be rerouted via route 108 <\/strong>between Blackwall Tunnel and Bow roundabout and\u00a0will\u00a0terminate at\u00a0Stratford instead of Stratford International from \u00a01 October 2016. Double decker buses will be introduced to increase capacity.
\n108 <\/strong>\u2013 From 1 October this bus will be rerouted to serve Chrisp Street, Violet Road and Campbell Road (instead of route D8). It will also be rerouted to Stratford International along Carpenters Road serving Stratford City.\u00a0\u00a0Larger single deck buses will be used to increase capacity needed at the south end of the route, around Blackheath\/North Greenwich<\/p>\n
